In Ukraine, potatoes have started to rise in price: how prices for vegetables and fruits have changed

Wholesale prices for potatoes in Ukraine have risen over the week from 10-12 hryvnias to 11-13 hryvnias per kilogram. This is reported by analysts of the EastFruit project. Cucumbers and tomatoes have continued to rise in price. Prices for them have increased significantly – from 40-75 UAH/kg to 75-105 UAH/kg and from 20-50 UAH/kg to 28-80 UAH/kg for tomatoes, respectively. Cabbage has mostly become cheaper. Cauliflower is priced at 27-40 hryvnias per kilogram compared to 35-55 hryvnias a week earlier. Broccoli is sold at 40-50 hryvnias, the previous price was 45-60 hryvnias per kilogram. At the same time, white cabbage has added three hryvnias to its cost – from 6-12 UAH/kg to 9-12 UAH/kg. Prices for Chinese cabbage have remained unchanged – 25-35 UAH/kg. Zucchini has significantly increased in price, with the price range narrowing – from 20-45 UAH/kg to 45-50 UAH/kg.
