Increase in poultry meat production in Mexico

MEXICO - The Mexican poultry sector continues to grow, projecting a production of chicken meat that will reach 4.2 million tons by 2026, representing a 2% increase. This progress is based on sustained private sector investments in vertically integrated operations and cutting-edge technological improvements. The rigorous biosecurity measures applied have allowed a drastic reduction in chick mortality, ensuring that more birds reach market weight efficiently. National consumption will grow by 3%, reaching a record 5.3 million tons for next year.
