In the last five years, Portugal has solidified its position as the second largest supplier to the Spanish market, especially in the fruit and vegetable sector. Spanish imports of these goods from Portugal have risen by 9% in volume and 84% in value, totaling 340,007 tonnes and 359.5 million EUR respectively. The most imported products are tomatoes, potatoes, kiwi, raspberry, avocado, apple, and blueberry.
