India witnessed a slight decline in its palm oil imports by about 2.5%, totaling 485,354 metric tons in March, as reported by the Solvent Extractors' Association of India (SEA). Conversely, the country saw a notable increase in the imports of soyoil and sunflower oil, with soyoil imports jumping by 26.4% to 218,604 tons and sunflower oil by approximately 50% to 445,723 tons. This shift contributed to an overall growth of over 23% in India's total vegetable oil imports, which reached 1.2 million tons.
