Industry processes 20 percent fewer Dutch potatoes

The processing of Dutch potatoes in November has never been as low as this year in the past decade. The raw material supply from Dutch soil to the factories fell to 155,300 tonnes last month. The processing of imported potatoes was also a lot quieter last month – at 145,300 tonnes – than in October. However, compared to last year, more potatoes from abroad were processed (+4 percent).
