Voronezh. June 10th. INTERFAX CENTER - The consumer price index in the Voronezh region was 100.7% in May, and 104.1% since the beginning of 2021, Voronezhstat reports. Thus, prices for food products in the region in May increased by 0.6% (since the beginning of the year - by 5.8%). There was a significant increase in prices for pork, fish, margarine, mayonnaise, buckwheat, potatoes, cabbage, onions, beets, carrots, grapes and lemons (by 3.1-23%). At the same time, prices for chicken eggs, millet, garlic, cucumbers, tomatoes, pears and bananas decreased (by 1.9-23.7%). Non-food products in May increased by 1.2% compared to the previous month (since the beginning of the year - by 5.1%). Thus, an increase in prices for weekly newspapers, toilet soap, matches, electric vacuum cleaners and building materials was registered (by 3.4-26.8%).
