The consumer price index in Russia's Voronezh region reached 100.7% in May and 104.1% since the start of the year. Food prices rose by 0.6% with significant increases in the cost of pork, fish, and various food items, while prices for some fruits and vegetables decreased. Non-food products saw a 1.2% increase, with higher prices for some items like weekly newspapers and building materials. Prices for services increased slightly, with higher costs for long-distance train travel and consumer credit payments, but some items like cellular services and group fitness classes saw decreases. The cost of a minimum set of food products in the region increased by 14% in May compared to December 2020.
