Recent reports from various countries including Greece, Poland, Germany, Romania, North Macedonia, United States, Finland, South Africa, Argentina, Congo (DRC), Japan, Brazil, Israel, South Africa, and Mexico have highlighted outbreaks of several severe animal diseases. Greece and Poland have seen outbreaks of African swine fever in pigs and wild boars, leading to significant losses. The United States has reported outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza affecting mammals and poultry. Finland, South Africa, and Argentina have also reported outbreaks of avian influenza in wild and domestic birds. Additionally, outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease, equine encephalomyelitis, anthrax, swine fever, and fowl typhoid have been reported in Africa, South America, and Asia, causing substantial losses to livestock.
