Recent reports from various countries including Romania, Poland, Sweden, Italy, Hungary, Ukraine, and the Czech Republic have highlighted outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boar and domestic pigs, with significant mortality among infected animals. The United States has also reported outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza in poultry and wild birds, as well as in mammals. In addition, Germany, Armenia, East Timor, France, Armenia, Ecuador, and Argentina have reported outbreaks of other animal diseases such as bluetongue, rabies, brucellosis, Leishmaniasis, and equine encephalitis, underscoring the global spread of these diseases and the challenges they pose to animal health.
