Interprofessional agreement for forage seeds in Italy: 2024-25 campaign price set for certified alfalfa seed

The Technical Economic Forage Committee that operates within the Interprofessional Agreement for Forage Seeds, which met this morning in Bologna, has set the settlement price for certified alfalfa seed for clean product (i.e. with 0% processing loss) at €365/q for the 2024/2025 campaign. “During the year – said Alessandro Lualdi, President of COAMS, the Consortium of Seed Multiplier Farmers’ Organizations and Coordinator of the Committee – the Committee has constantly verified the evolution of national production and monitored the performance of international markets in order to have all the necessary information and define the fair settlement price for alfalfa seed for the 2024/2025 campaign.
