Iran purchases feed corn from 15 countries/ UAE and Turkey are the top exporters of corn to Iran

According to ISNA, based on the statistics released by customs, in the first seven months of the current year, six million tons of animal feed corn worth $1 billion, 889 million, and 601 thousand dollars were imported into the country. The imports were from Spain, Afghanistan, United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, Brazil, Belgium, Turkey, China, Singapore, Switzerland, Sweden, Oman, Russia, the Netherlands, and Hong Kong. The United Arab Emirates sold 2 million and 191 thousand tons of animal feed corn worth $673 million and 616 thousand dollars to Iran in the first seven months of the current year. Turkey is considered the second largest seller of animal feed corn to Iran, having exported 1 million and 770 thousand tons worth $559 million and 181 thousand dollars. Switzerland also exported 575 thousand tons of animal feed corn worth $179 million and 223 thousand dollars to Iran.
