The greenhouses in Sistan-Baluchestan province in Iran produce 73,000 tons of various products yearly, including tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, eggplants, strawberries, and leafy vegetables. Greenhouse cultivation in the province offers advantages such as water conservation, increased productivity, year-round planting and harvesting, and protection against threats and damages. A significant portion of the products, particularly tomatoes, are exported abroad, with over 10,000 tons of greenhouse products harvested from 386 hectares of land this year.
