[Korean Farmers' News Agency Reporter Kang Jae-nam] One month after the South Korea-Singapore summit agreement, Jeju-produced Hanwoo and pork have embarked on their first export journey to Singapore. Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Food & Drug Administration, held a departure ceremony at Jeju Port on the afternoon of November 1st to commemorate the first export of Jeju Hanwoo and pork to Singapore. The ceremony was attended by approximately 150 people, including Jeju Governor Oh Young-hoon, Director of the Food Policy Bureau at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Park Jeong-hoon, and Director of the Gwangju Food and Drug Safety Office Song Sung-ok, among others. They shared the achievements of the initiative and awarded certificates of merit to those who contributed. Notably, the unveiling ceremony, held in front of the export vehicles, marked the beginning of the global market entry.
