The Kamchatka region is looking to expand its fish product sales to the UAE and African countries, with regional authorities organizing deliveries. Deputy Chairman Yulia Morozova emphasized the high export potential due to Kamchatka's rich fisheries. Initially, exports will target Asia-Pacific countries, with new markets including Cote d'Ivoire, Togo, Nigeria, Serbia, Israel, and Uzbekistan. Efforts are also underway to boost exports to Belarus. These initiatives were discussed in the lead-up to the Eastern Economic Forum 2024, which will focus on international cooperation, technology, and new transport routes.
