Kazakh flour mills produced 1.6 million tons of flour in the first half of the year, a slight increase from last year. The main buyers of Kazakh flour are Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Russia, but in 2022, the market expanded to include countries such as Israel, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, and Turkey. The price of flour decreased in July, with manufacturers' products and wholesale prices both dropping.
