In the first nine months of 2024, macaroni imports in the CIS countries inched up by 14.6% year-on-year to 30,700 tons, contributing to a 22% share of the market. The majority of these imports were sourced from other CIS countries, with smaller contributions from China, South Korea, Italy, Poland, and Germany. Meanwhile, Kazakhstan emerged as a significant exporter of macaroni, totaling 33,800 tons, with the majority of its exports headed to the CIS countries, Georgia, Afghanistan, China, Mongolia, South Korea, Lithuania, and Germany.
