In July-January 2022/23 MY, 21.1 thousand tons of Kazakh peas were supplied to this country, which is almost the same as in the previous season (20.8 thousand tons) and accounts for 59% of the total pea supplies in the current MY. Over the same period of the previous MY, Afghanistan accounted for more than 77% of deliveries. APK-Inform analysts explain this change in the supply structure by a significant (3.3 times) increase in imports by Uzbekistan, which purchased 11.0 thousand tons of peas from Kazakhstan in the reporting period (against 3.3 thousand tons for the same period in 2021/22 MY ).
