Kernel, in collaboration with Sentinel Earth, has developed a pilot project for the issuance of carbon certificates in Ukraine, in accordance with the most recognized international standard Verra.

The main idea of carbon certificates lies in the monetization of reductions and soil absorption of greenhouse gas emissions, which can be achieved through frugal (aka regenerative) agricultural technologies and optimization of operational efficiency.
According to Martha Trofimova, it is important for her that climate/decarbonization actions serve as a value driver with a financial result.
