Nam Tae-heon, president of the Forest Welfare Promotion Agency, said, "This Low-Carbon Certification is a result of external recognition of the agency's carbon neutrality practice efforts," adding, "As a trustworthy eco-friendly public institution, we will take the lead in achieving carbon neutrality by 2050."

The Forest Welfare Promotion Agency plans to faithfully perform the role of a public institution with Low-Carbon Certification by actively utilizing domestic timber, expanding carbon-neutral forest education, and pursuing carbon footprint certification for its programs.
