The Korea Rural Community Corporation has been awarded a contract by the Malawi government for the design and construction supervision of a medium-scale irrigation project. The project aims to boost food production and increase income through the expansion of agricultural production infrastructure across 7 districts. The corporation formed a consortium with a domestic company and a local Malawi company to win the order. The successful implementation of the project is expected to pave the way for the participation of domestic companies worth 2.4 billion won. This opportunity will further establish the corporation's role in creating an agricultural production base abroad and support the expansion of domestic companies overseas.
