The National Korean Beef Association is planning a nationwide relay quarantine and supply-demand control campaign from November 2nd to 30th to address concerns about price declines due to an increase in slaughtered animals and to set a new record high for the Korean beef industry in 2023. The campaign will focus on controlling supply and demand at the farm level and preventing livestock diseases such as foot-and-mouth disease, Brucella disease, and tuberculosis disease. The campaign will also address the issue of voluntary cow reduction to prevent a decrease in cattle prices due to an increase in the number of Korean cattle raised.
