The Ministry of Agriculture in Liberia has received over US 200,000 dollars' worth of supplies, including power tillers, motorbikes, and Nerica seed rice, from the UNDP as part of a five-year project aimed at supporting farmers and extension services. This project, which targets vulnerable populations in seven counties, has already supported over 400 farmers and provided financial grants and training for over 50 business start-ups. The UNDP is working in collaboration with the Ministries of Commerce and Agriculture to strengthen business development services for MSMEs.
