Line up points to export of 1.25 million tons of sugar

Porto Alegre, April 10, 2026 – The total number of ships waiting to load sugar at Brazilian ports stood at 35 in the week ending April 8, up from 31 the previous week, according to a survey conducted by maritime agency Williams Brasil. According to the report, there is a scheduled loading of 1.253 million tons of sugar, up from 1.063 million tons the previous week. The Port of Santos (SP) is expected to load the largest part (584,090 tons). Following are the port of Paranaguá, in Paraná (321,145 tons), São Sebastião, in São Paulo (136,00 tons), Maceió, in Alagoas (165,803 tons), Recife, in Pernambuco (13,405 tons), and Suape, in the same state (33 thousand tons). The sugar cargo to be exported consists of VHP (1,172,944 tons), Cristal B150 (24,500 tons), TBC (41,000 tons), and Refined A45 (15,000 tons). The agency's report takes into account the vessels already anchored, those at sea waiting to dock, and those expected to arrive by June 16. Exports reach 1.8 million tons in March ...
