During the month of May, the agro-industrial sector settled the sum of U$S 2,677 million dollars; implying a 7% increase in relation to the month of April 2026, with a total annual accumulated amount of 10,343 million dollars, which, compared to the same period of the year 2025, represented a 12% lower income. This was indicated by the Chamber of the Oil Industry of the Argentine Republic (CIARA) and the Center of Cereal Exporters (CEC), entities that represent 48% of Argentine exports. The report highlights that this period was also characterized by a growth in the arrival of trucks of corn and sunflower and the arrival of the first trucks of soybeans for industrial processing and subsequent export.
