The Danube Soya Association and Ukraine's Ministry of Agriculture are collaborating to boost the production of non-GM soybeans. The plan includes developing domestic soybean supply chains to the EU, which was discussed in a meeting with the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Taras Vysotskyi. The association also intends to support domestic soybean producers and consider aiding small farmers who grow soybeans in Ukraine. Ukraine, being one of the top soybean producers and exporters, might see an increase in soybean cultivation area in 2023.
