The Secretariat of Agriculture and Rural Development (Sader) of Mexico, with the support of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), will renew 34 agricultural product systems to boost the country's economic recovery from COVID-19 and increase the national production of 44 strategic crops. This initiative aims to improve the productivity, sustainability, and inclusion of the National Committees of Product Systems (CNSP) by addressing topics such as climate change adaptation and mitigation, digital agriculture, and sustainable biodiversity use. The renewal is expected to reduce technological, economic, and social gaps within Mexico and promote environmental safety, business management, and innovation.
