The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) delivered georeferencing instruments to 40 native communities in the Junín region, prioritized during 2025. This process, considered an achievement of public management, comprises a total of 47 communal territories that now have clear, precise, and validated information over a surface area of 190,816 hectares. "It is a success what the Junín region has achieved. We are at a decisive moment for agrarian development. For years, the imprecision in territorial boundaries has generated conflicts, overlapping rights, and an unacceptable insecurity in the face of threats such as land trafficking.
