The institutions benefited from this first delivery are the Community Council of Ceará, in Aquiraz; the Family Mission Association, in Baturité; the Capuan Community Association, in Caucaia; the Maranata Social Development Association of Amanari, in Maranguape; and the Father Alcides Três Social Cultural Institute of Life Support, in Monsenhor Tabosa. The food was purchased by Conab in 2023, through the Direct Purchase modality of the Food Acquisition Program (PAA), with resources from the Ministry of Development and Social Assistance, Family and Hunger Combat (MDS). In total, 33 tons of powdered milk were acquired, which represented an investment of approximately R$ 1.05 million in Ceará's family agriculture. The delivery marks the beginning of the distribution stage of products purchased in the state.
