South Korea's Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Jeong Hwang-geun, has announced plans to stabilize the supply and demand of powdered rice through the operation of an on-site technical support group next year. The minister also outlined plans to support the product development of food companies and revitalize the powdered rice industry. The budget for next year includes a 7.1 billion won industrialization support project for powdered rice and a 72 billion won strategic crop direct payment project.
