Indonesia's Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, is optimistic about the continued growth and recovery of agricultural exports despite the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite initial lockdowns, export acceleration has been observed in recent months. East Java alone has over 10 export destination countries. The Ministry is focusing on exports of commodities such as coffee, cocoa, coconut, cocoa flour, animal feed supplements, and fish to countries like Arabia, America, Europe, and Australia. The Agricultural Quarantine Agency is ready to speed up agricultural product exports through a partnership scheme and an export clinic with an agricultural quarantine service office.
