The Ministry of Ports and Airports announced, through a statement, an investment of R$ 1.6 billion to expand the cargo handling capacity at the Port of Santos. The amount will be paid by DP World, which operates a private port terminal installed on the left bank of the port. "These investments reinforce the modernization of the port sector, increase the efficiency of the port, and demonstrate the confidence of investors in Brazil," says the Minister of Ports and Airports, Silvio Costa Filho, through a statement.
