The Spanish Interprofessional Organization of Fruit and Vegetables (Hortiespaña) has concluded this week the Educational Tour ‘Es de Invernadero’, an initiative that, after three editions, has brought the sustainable model of solar greenhouses in Southern Europe to over 3,700 students across the country. This action is part of the campaign ‘Es de Invernadero. Sustainable Fruits and Vegetables from Europe’, promoted by Hortiespaña and co-financed by the European Union, with the aim of transmitting information about this sustainable production system that is a benchmark in efficiency, innovation, and food safety. The tour has visited almost fifty institutes and educational centers in cities such as Almería, Granada, Málaga, Seville, Córdoba, Murcia, Valencia, and Madrid, reaching a total of 3,722 students.
