REPUBLICA.CO.ID, BANTEN -- The Affordable Food Movement (GPM) activities were held simultaneously across Indonesia as an effort to maintain the stability of prices and the availability of food, particularly rice commodities. The event took place concurrently with the simultaneous corn planting activities of the IV Quarter of the Polri in Bantar Panjang Village, Tigaraksa, Tangerang Regency, Banten, on Wednesday (10/8/2025).
"Not only that, we are also actively involved in maintaining the stability of prices and the availability of rice commodities through the distribution of Bulog's SPHP rice within the Affordable Food Movement program," said Polri Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo, in his press statement.
Sigit revealed that from August 6 to October 7, 2025, a total of 93,015 tons of SPHP rice had been distributed, or 36.82 percent of the total national SPHP distribution in the same period, which was 252,590 tons.
