Global demand for berries, especially dried ones, has seen a significant increase in the past few years, presenting a challenge for Ukrainian producers in the market. Despite restrictions, cranberry sales have risen by 20% this year, with Belarusian cranberries harvested dry for extended shelf life being competitive. Ukraine has also seen a surge in exports of frozen strawberries and raspberries, with Poland, Germany, and the Czech Republic as the main buyers. Ukraine has emerged as a leading supplier of frozen blueberries to China, surpassing other competitors. The domestic market offers potential for Ukrainian producers, as highlighted by the high prices for imported berries.
