The Executive Management Committee of the Foreign Trade Chamber (Camex) responded to a request from the Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil (CNA) and approved, on Wednesday (27), the renewal of the inclusion of natural rubber on the List of Exceptions to the Common External Tariff (Letec). The measure, which guarantees the maintenance of the import rate of 10.8% for another two years, is the result of the work of CNA and the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of the State of São Paulo (Faesp) with the ministries that make up the Committee and represents an important victory for the Brazilian rubber industry.
