Nestlé will increase investment in the pasta factory in the village of Smolyhiv in Volyn to €70 million by the end of 2027. The decision was made in light of the high production results of the new enterprise, said the CEO of Nestlé in Ukraine and Southeastern Europe, Alessandro Zanelli. According to him, the launch of the project, which was approved back in 2022, took about 30 months. Production at the new factory started in April 2025. The initial investment amounted to €43 million and the company currently sees its return in the form of profit: "Why did we invest in this? Because we calculated the cost of converting raw materials into finished products, Ukraine allows us to be very competitive in this regard. When we looked at our ability to generate products, we saw excellent results, we don’t need to move it anywhere. For this reason, we continue to invest in this production and will expand it.
