The NMIMS School of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SAST), in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, Government of Maharashtra and Jai Swaminarayan Banana Farmers’ Producers Company, Tardi, hosted a workshop on Good Agricultural Practices for Papaya Cultivation in Dhule district, Maharashtra. The event, attended by over 300 farmers, covered various aspects of papaya cultivation, including variety selection, crop health management, and fruit production. It also provided information on government schemes for papaya farmers, emphasized the importance of identifying farming issues for research, and featured expert lectures, water quality testing, and a product exhibition.
