The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in Turkey has updated the regulatory framework for alcohol and alcoholic beverages, outlining new costs for facility establishment permits, production permits, and distribution authorization fees. The changes, effective from January 1, see the minimum costs for these permits and fees, with additional charges for modifications and renewals. Separately, a communiqué has been published on the implementation of articles pertaining to the production and trade of ethyl alcohol and methanol, detailing costs for facility establishment, compliance, distribution conformity certificates, and service fees received for these products. These updates aim to standardize costs and streamline procedures in the alcohol and alcoholic beverage industry, encompassing both domestic and international trade.
