On December 4, a two-day gathering of seed industry representatives starts in Astana.

On December 4-5, the 5th International Conference-Contraction "SEED DAY 'TŪQYM-2026" will be held in Astana. The event program (details on the website https://dan-agro.kz/) will feature presentations on the localization of seed production and cooperation with Kazakhstani seed farms. The following will speak on this topic at the conference: — General Director of Lidea in Kazakhstan, Yan Dupont; — Director of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Omsk Agrarian Scientific Center" (Russia), Maxim Chekuzov. Representatives of breeding companies whose seed production is localized in Kazakhstan will also participate, namely Norika (Germany), Saatbau (Austria), All-Ukrainian Scientific Institute of Breeding (Ukraine).
