On March 3rd, the "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" increased by 0.23 points compared to yesterday.

According to the monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on March 3, the "200 Index of Agricultural Wholesale Prices" was 125.65, up 0.23 points from yesterday, and the wholesale price index for "grocery basket" products was 127.89, up 0.28 points from yesterday. As of 2:00 PM today, the average wholesale price of pork in national agricultural wholesale markets was 17.22 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday; beef 66.06 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday; mutton 65.44 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday; eggs 7.58 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday; and white-feathered chicken 17.49 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.17 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from yesterday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.97 yuan/kg, up 1.8% from yesterday. Carp 19.66 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday; crucian carp 14.66 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from yesterday; silver carp 10.36 yuan/kg, down 2.4% from yesterday; and large ribbonfish 41.26 yuan/kg, down 1.1% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products in the domestic wholesale market that are closely monitored, the top five in terms of price increase compared to yesterday were green onion, Fuji apple, scallion, zucchini, and flat mushroom, with increases of 6.7%, 4.4%, 3.1%, 2.6%, and 2.3% respectively; the top five in terms of price decrease were endive, silver carp, celery, napa cabbage, and large yellow croaker, with decreases of 2.5%, 2.4%, 2.3%, 1.6%, and 1.2% respectively.
