The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries in South Korea held an online fishery expo to help domestic seafood exporters find new markets due to the COVID-19 pandemic causing the cancellation of many international fairs. The expo, held over three days, resulted in an export contract worth KRW 7 billion and promoted Korean seafood to overseas consumers through 37 distribution stores in five countries. The expo was divided into non-face-to-face export consultations and product exhibitions, with interpretation services and product sample delivery provided.
