Orange juice exports decline with falling prices, while watermelon crop in RS ends with squeezed margins

Brazilian orange juice exports are showing mixed performance in the 2025/26 crop season (July 2025 to March 2026). According to data from the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex), compiled by Cepea, the volume shipped remains stable compared to the same period of the previous season. Despite this, revenue from foreign sales registers a significant drop of 27.1%, a direct reflection of the reduction in international prices throughout the current crop season. The good performance of exports to the United States has been one of the main factors supporting the total volume shipped. Even with the increase in sales to the North American market, the revenue obtained from this destination shows a 16.4% contraction in the crop season.
