Ukraine: Over the month, the price of chilled pork in stores increased by almost 6%

In June, the price of chilled pork in retail chains increased by 5.8% compared to the previous month. Final sales prices make up for the "overdue" increase in prices, according to analysts of the Association "Swine Farmers of Ukraine". In the first month of summer, the average retail price of a kilogram of chilled pork rose to UAH 140.2, which is 5.8% or 7.7 UAH/kg higher than the previous month. Thus, according to the data of the monitoring of national supermarket chains conducted by the Association "Pigs of Ukraine", June prices for chilled pork semi-finished products were UAH 4.8-13/kg higher than in May: "Yes, from June 1 to June 1 in July, the change in retail price tags ranged from 4.3 to 11 UAH/kg, depending on the semi-finished product.
