Panzhihua mangoes, with a wholesale price of 4 yuan/catties and a retail price of 7-8 yuan/catties, are being exported to countries along the "Belt and Road" including Singapore, Malaysia, Russia, New Zealand, Canada, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. The city has become the largest mango producer in China, with a planting area of 1.03 million mu and an output of 540,000 tons. Panzhihua has also expanded its mango processing capabilities, with 1,746 primary processing facilities and plans to build regional agricultural product processing parks and introduce deep-processing enterprises.
