Paraguay's bovine stock is projected to decrease by 1.5% by the end of the year, according to José Carlos Martin, head of the National Service for Quality and Animal Health (Senacsa). This would mark a third consecutive drop in the stock, with the herd expected to have fewer than 13.51 million heads by the end of the year. Despite the decrease in the bovine herd, meat exports have seen a significant growth of around 47% in the past four years, generating an additional $600 million in revenue.
