According to the Agricultural Economic Bulletin this Thursday (9), prepared by the analysts of the Rural Economy Department (Deral), from the State Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (Seab), the production of blackberries in Brazil is officially recorded in the 2017 Agricultural Census of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics. At the time, 1.3 thousand hectares of cultivated area were accounted for, with a production of 2.8 thousand tons and a Gross Production Value (GPV) of R$ 10.1 million, distributed among 799 establishments.
