Russia is focused on providing its citizens with food and is prioritizing the growth and stability of its dairy industry, with a projected raw milk production of 34 million tons in 2024. The industry's expansion is creating opportunities for export to over 90 countries, and the government is increasing support and compensation for dairy producers. From 2025, milk producers will also benefit from preferential lending at an interest rate of 8.3%. The government is also investing in the development of advanced technologies, automation, and robotics in agriculture, as part of a national project aimed at food security and technological sovereignty.
