The domestic pepper price in Vietnam remains stable, with an average of 87,500 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Cambodia has seen a significant increase in pepper exports by 563% in the first nine months of 2021, reaching over 27,316 tons, exported to more than 20 countries. On the other hand, the price of rubber at the Tokyo Commodity Exchange and the Shanghai Commodity Futures Exchange for October and November delivery respectively has also increased. From January to August, China's rubber imports experienced a 24% increase year-on-year, amounting to US$8.04 billion. Vietnam has become the second largest rubber supplier to China, with a market share of 15.9% in China's total rubber import value in the first eight months of 2021, a significant increase from 13.2% in the same period of the previous year.
