(Agraria.pe) In the last week, fresh lemon exports could recover a little. Shipments totaled 518 tons, which was 20% higher than what was dispatched in the same week of 2022. With this, so far this season, fresh lemon shipments have reached 16,467 tons, 27% more than what was recorded in the same period last season. In this same week, shipments reached five destinations, highlighting the United States, with a 30% share (155 tons); the Netherlands, with 23% (119 tons); and Belgium, with 20% (102 tons). Only ten companies exported lemon from Peru, highlighting Ecosac Agrícola S.A.C., with 30% participation; followed by Trapani Cultivares Perú S.A.C., with 25%; and Camposol S.A., with 13%.
