Peru is set to boost its sustainable artisanal cheese production through a partnership with Swiss experts, who will train 30 production plants from July 12 to 27. This initiative, supported by the Swiss Cooperation Cosude, aims to enhance the technical skills of producers and leaders in sustainable practices, with a focus on climate resilience. The training will cover various aspects of cheese production, including milk quality, cheese-making techniques, and waste management, and will be overseen by national cheese masters to ensure lasting improvements.
