Peru's Asparagus Shipments Grow: Who Are the Main Exporters and Importers?

At week 22 of the current Peruvian asparagus export campaign (2025), shipments have increased by 27%, totaling 29,393 tons with a FOB value of US$ 78,565,456. Information from a recent Fresh Cargo report details that North America was the main destination for the national vegetable, with 22,218 tons (equivalent to 75% of placements). Europe followed with 6,067 tons (21%), Latin America with 832 tons (3%), Asia with 189 tons (1%), and the Middle East with 78 tons (0.3%). According to Fresh Cargo, the leading companies in asparagus shipments during this period were Agroexportaciones Nathanael SAC with 2,913 tons, TA Export SAC with 2,628 tons, Danper Trujillo SAC with 2,242 tons, Faex Trading SAC with 1,613 tons, and Agronegocios D&C EIRL with 1,604 tons.
